Concrete work for Indian Trail homes.
Indian Trail is mostly subdivisions built over the last few decades, which means many homes now have original driveways and builder-grade patios that are cracking, settling or simply too small for how the household uses them.
Common Indian Trail projects
- Driveway widening and parking pads for an extra car, boat or trailer
- Patio expansions that replace a small builder slab with usable outdoor space
- Replacing settled driveway panels near the garage, a common problem on backfilled soil
- Side-yard walkways to the backyard and trash area
- Stamped patios and pool surrounds
Why builder driveways crack
The soil right next to a new house is usually backfill around the foundation. If it wasn't compacted well before the driveway went in, the panels nearest the garage settle first. Replacing those panels with a rebuilt, compacted base fixes the problem instead of hiding it.
HOA approval
Many Indian Trail neighborhoods have HOAs that review driveway extensions and visible concrete work. A simple drawing with dimensions from the estimate is usually all you need for the application.
